DRAMA WORKSHOPS
Making art with different groups of people, is a big part of what we do at The Herd. Our shows are often made in collaboration with groups of young people - we've turned kids stories into shows, some of our work has been devised and performed by teenagers and we've worked through show ideas with nursery schools.
As well as this show orientated work we also run workshops and participatory programmes, ranging from online sessions, one-off workshops at theatres, to 18 month weekly youth programmes, to playing games in tents. Scroll down to take a look at some examples of the workshops we've delivered.

WIRES CROSSED
AT GANTON SCHOOL

We worked with students and teachers at Ganton School to create a programme of drama workshops that opened up a conversation around mental health, with a focus on managing mental health and a learning disability. These workshops were delivered by Herd artists, a drama therapist, and a group of pupils to other students, teachers, parents and carers.
ONLINE WORKSHOPS

Like everyone, we had to adapt what we do during the Coronavirus Pandemic. We kept in touch with families in this time with online workshops for a number of organisations.
We made BIRD EXPLORES a series of interactive workshops exploring Hull's Museums with a puppet called Bird, for 2-5yrs and their families.
